Choose demo or retail data

The linked project documents a free shareware route and a separate retail-data route. Its demo is limited content; the full game requires your own DIABDAT.MPQ.

Those are different setup paths. Opening the free demo does not supply the retail game or establish that you have all its content.

Which button should you use?

Choose Play Free Demo for the project’s shareware experience. Choose Load Your MPQ only if you have your own permitted retail data file. Follow the project’s file-selection instructions.

The source documentation recommends mouse and keyboard. It also describes touch controls as needing improvement, so mobile availability should not be read as equivalent to a fully checked desktop experience.

Keep your saves

The project documents browser-local saves and import/export tools. Export anything important before clearing browser data or switching devices.

Multiplayer is described as experimental. This guide does not present it as verified co-op support or claim a completed gameplay test.

Good questions. Clear answers.

Is the whole game free?

The documented free route is a limited shareware demo. Retail content needs your own game data.

Are saves synced across devices?

The project describes local browser saves. Use its export/import options rather than assuming cloud sync.
